PRAYER FOR PROTECTION

We always commence our Rosary prayers with a prayer for protection of our Rosary prayer and intentions:

the Archangel St. Michael, the Miraculous Medal, and to St. Joseph, patron saint of the universal Church.

+ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen

Prayer to Archangel S.t Michael

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Prayer Against the Persecutors of the Holy Mother Church

that her enemies and all heresies may be brought to naught,

Prayers to St. Joseph

Original prayer: Leo XIII, Quamquam Pluries. 15 aug. 1889    

Patron Saint of Universal Church. 

Patron Saint of Fathers, -Families and Married People. 

Head of the Holy Family and Terror of Demons.

Defend O most watchful guardian of the Holy family,

The chosen offspring of Jesus Christ.

Keep from us, O most loving Father,

all blight of error and corruption.

Aid us from on high, most valiant defender,

In this conflict with the powers of darkness,

and even as of old, You did rescue the Child Jesus from the peril of His life,

So now defend God's Holy Church

from the snares of the enemy and from all adversity.

Shield us ever under your patronage,

that, following your example and strengthened by your help,

we may live a holy life, die a happy death,

THE OFFERING PRAYER BEFORE ROSARY

Eternal Father, I offer you this Rosary,

by Marie Immaculate Heart in union with her Son,

Jesus Christ's precious blood,

as thanksgiving for all your good deeds,

according to Jesus' Sacred Heart intentions;

for all grace and blessing that will

make us close this beloved Heart

in life, in death, in time and eternity; for the sick; the dying;

for the conversion of sinners and for the souls in Purgatory;

for those who have asked for our prayers

and we are obliged to ask for and the family's intentions,

to You, God, may all lead to your greater honour

and glory and a glorious death for us all.

We pray for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of the Holy Rosary, who vanquishes all heresy as we pray for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

We pray for the intercession of St. Joseph, Patron Saint of Universal Church and Terror of Demons to protect Our Mother Church.

We pray for protection of our bishops and priests and for the preservation without restrictions of the Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum in the Church through the unity of the Latin rite in our respective languages and cultures.

We ask Our Lady of the Rosary and St. Michael the Archangel to protect our cardinals, bishops and priests who are under attack from evil forces and to give them strenght to stand against wickedness.

Please give strength to all good priests and bishops who have been "cancelled" by the hierarchy.

We ask for priestly vocations and vocations to Holy Orders.

The Rosary is a perfect wreath and we have now reached the connecting medallion where we follow the great Catholic tradition and learn from Cardinal Leo Burke and Bishop Athanasius Schneider of how they pray the Rosary in Latin. 

We will now pray Salve Regina, which unites the intentions and prayers.

The Marian antiphon is sung at the end of the Rosary.

has purchased for us the rewards of eternal salvation.

Grant, we beseech Thee: that while meditating on these mysteries

of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary,

that we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise,

Let us pray :

In the Name of Jesus Christ, our God and Lord, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul and all the Saints, we confidently undertake to repulse the attacks and deceits of the devil.

O Jesus, this is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, for the Holy Father and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

O Holy Mother of Priests, protect all priests from the dangers of their holy profession and lead the stray bishops and priests who have failed their sublime vocation, with your kind motherly hand, back to the good shepherd!

Let us pray for our Holy Father – Pope Francis I - and his eternal soul and pray for the Papal intentions (Raccolta):

May the Lord preserve him and give him life and make him to be blessed upon the earth and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies.
